Community I believe that a classroom should be a place of beauty and order. In order to accomplish this I need to create a strong community. A community, which houses respect. We need to acknowledge that all humans are valuable and unique. I want to create an environment where all classmates are caring and compassionate of one and another and branch out from our caring community classroom to the bigger picture of the community as a whole.

Order. It is hard to accomplish learning when the environment is in chaos. I hope to have everyone so ingrained to be respectful of our space and community that order will not be too big of an issue. I know that I will have to establish this within the first few days of class, and the thought of this is pretty daunting, but I find it invaluably important. Order is necessary in order, ha! to get much learning done.

Mystique and Curiosity. It is important to create the love of learning. I hope to make learning as engaging as possible. I want my students to always question, and to have fun with what they are learning. In order to accomplish this, I realize that I will have to come up with clever lesson plans which are able to bring meaning to many different personalities, and people from sometimes very differing backgrounds. I plan on creating my lesson plans by using a number of methods that we are learning now, through movement, art, music, writing, listening, stretching the imagination, I hope to teach my students to want to learn more and more, and to help make the world a better place.
