There have been a lot of great 'free blogs' this week!
I really enjoyed reading Michelle's about how awesome we all are as well as Rachel's vent.
I guess I'll write about both of those.
Michelle and I had a similar undergraduate experience. Being at Lewis and Clark has completely changed my notion of what college is. I had the exact same experience at the book store. One woman that worked there took my list of books, picked them all off the shelf and carried them to the cash register for me... it blew my mind. I also share Michelle's opinion that I don't know if I could handle this experience without the support of the cohort and the amazingly empathetic instructors.
I remember that during orientation Melanie told us that her last cohort was the closest she had ever seen. I saw that as a challenge. It seems most of us felt the same way. I'm not going to get all emotional about how cohort 1 is full of great, interesting people. All I will say is that we can beat last years cohort. We aren't just cohort 1, we are the #1 cohort. We are bad ass.
Friday. Beers. Be there.
